Community hub café and bar at the old school in the Eskdale hills, serving cakes through to full meals, with a village shop. A cycling café guide notes it stocks bike spares, and Eskape e-bike hire is based here. A useful stop on quiet roads in the east of the region.

Mon–Sun 10am–4pm; hot food until 2:45pm. Sunday lunch from noon (booking required).
